Driver’s Age
Minimum rental age is 18 years and the maximum age is 90 years.
Driver’s Surcharge
Young driver surcharge of 20 CAD per day will apply for drivers aged from 18 to 24 years old.
Driver’s License
Drivers must hold a full and valid license with no major endorsements. Also passport would be required at time of pick up.
An International Driver’s License (IDL) is mandatory if domestic drivers license is not in English. International driver's license must be accompanied by the original domestic license of the driver.
Insurance Coverage
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
It is not included in the rental amount
Theft Waiver (THW)
It is not included in the rental amount.
Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL)
It is included in the rental amount a cover up to 5 million CAD.
Please Note:
1. A valid Police report is mandatory, in case of an incident/ accident / damage or theft. The customer must immediately inform the rental desk about the incident.
2. Renter must present the vehicle keys and documents to the rental company (Finalrentals) to qualify for coverage, otherwise the insurance will be invalidated and the renter will be liable for the full amount due to the loss of vehicle. In the event of any damage to the vehicle for theft reasons, the insurance does not cover the renter.
3. Any damage due to driver negligence or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other controlled substances is not covered by insurance.
4. Insurance doesn’t cover Windows and mirrors, wheels and tire, undercarriage, engine, the car’s interior, personal belongings, lost keys, extras such as GPS or child seats.
Transferable Insurance Coverage
If customer uses their own personal insurance then a fee of 150 CAD will apply in case of any incidents /claims.
Excess Reduction
Customer can purchase insurance at the counter starting from 35 CAD to 70 CAD per day depending on the vehicle which reduces your excess amount from Full to 2000 CAD for standard cars and SUVs and 3500 CAD for vans or you can purchase full insurance which cost from 50 CAD per day for standard cars and 95 CAD per day for Vans which will reduce your excess to zero.
A refundable deposit varying 350 CAD for standard cars and 750 CAD for vans will be held from the credit card at the time of rental until the vehicle is returned.
Insurance may not cover Glass, tyres and other accessories. Insurances is optional and can be purchased at the rental desk. For more information please check at the rental desk.
Fees
Airport surcharge is included in the rental amount.
Other fees:
1. Traffic and parking fines are the responsibility of the customer. The charge depends on the violation. CAD 150 per fine administrative fee will be charged.
2. If found smoking in the car, a charge of 200 CAD will be applicable.
3. If the car keys or documents are lost a fee of 300 CAD will be applicable.
Breakdown Assistance
Breakdown assistance is available free of charge. It does not cover tyre change. If it's customer's fault, charges will apply depending on the fault or damage. Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire.
Fuel Policy
You have to return the vehicle with same fuel amount as it was supplied to you at the time of pickup. In case of less fuel missing fuel will be charged in addition to a refueling fee on your return. Unused fuel is not refundable. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated. Supplier's fuel policies change from time to time, please confirm at rental counter.

Cross Border Travel
Cross border travel is allowed to USA and Canada, No charges.
Payment Methods
Only Amex, MasterCard and Visa and Discover credit cards are accepted and the card must be on main renters name while paying at the rental desk.
The following payment methods are not accepted:
Cash and debit cards.
Deposit
A refundable deposit varying from CAD 350 to CAD 750 (depending upon the vehicle group) will be held from the credit card at the time of rental until the vehicle is returned.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection service is available only to Vancouver downtown hotels free of charge.
Out of Hours
Service is available 24/7.
Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipments depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
